Two face additional charges related to Paris Drive break-in investigation

On March 13, 2022, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) laid additional charges for two people previously arrested in relation to the break and enter at a business on Paris Drive in Elliot Lake.

The break and enter occurred in the early morning of Jan. 16, 2022. Two people were arrested and charged on Jan. 18, 2022 and an additional person on Feb. 3, 2022.

Douglas Cramer, 33 years old; and Samantha Pellerin-Levessque, 30 years old, both of Elliot Lake were additionally charged with:
    •    Break, enter a place - commit indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code (CC)
    •    Possession of break in instruments, contrary to section 351(1) of the CC

Both accused persons are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on April 5, 2022.
