Second arrest made in gas station robbery investigation

A second person has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery incident that occurred at a gas station on Highway 108 on Nov. 20.

Police reported that an employee was robbed at knifepoint and a suspect fled the scene on foot with cash and cigarettes.

On Nov. 23, an Elliot Lake resident, 23-year-old Spencer D'Amato-Kosch, was arrested and charged in connection to this incident.

A second arrest was made on Nov. 25 at an apartment on Centre Street in Blind River.

Gavin Belsito-Nolan, 31 years old of Blind River, appeared in court yesterday to face charges of:
    •    Robbery with weapon
    •    Disguise with intent
