Former Quebec Nordiques general manager Maurice Filion dies at 85

MONTREAL — Maurice Filion, the former coach and general manager of the Quebec Nordiques in the World Hockey Association and the National Hockey League, has died. Filion, who was 85, died on Friday but the cause of death was not made public.
