NEW YORK — Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Radko Gudas was suspended for 10 games without pay by the NHL on Sunday for slashing Winnipeg Jets forward Mathieu Perreault.

NASHVILLE — Craig Smith keeps putting himself in the right spot for the Nashville Predators. Smith had a goal and an assist, Pekka Rinne made 29 saves and Nashville beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-2 on Saturday night.
