VANCOUVER — Oliver Ekman-Larsson wasn't feeling his best on Tuesday night. For the very first time, the Vancouver Canucks defenceman was playing the Arizona Coyotes, the team that drafted him and where he spent the first 11 seasons of his NHL career.

EDMONTON — Starting their backup goalie against his old club turned out to be a pretty good move for the Las Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday.

WINNIPEG — Connor Hellebuyck was feeling pretty good after accomplishing something no other goalie has done against the Minnesota Wild this season. Hellebuyck made 27 saves as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Wild 2-0 on Tuesday.

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Senators held off a third period rally by the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday night to take a 4-3 win led by captain Brady Tkachuk.
