ElliotLakeToday is stepping up to help Maplegate House for Women in honour of International Women’s Day. But we need your help! 

For every care package purchased for the shelter in our online pop-up store, local businesses have offered to match the donation. That means your donation will be matched 6 times!

All donations will support Maplegate House for Women, and you can purchase a package for the shelter until March 7 at 12 p.m.

Please READ THE RULES. Your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase. We recommend you use a credit card, not a debit card.

Please note: The charge will appear on your credit card as Village Media. No tax receipt is provided for those purchasing a care package and Village Media will not receive a tax receipt when submitting the donation to the Crisis Centre on your behalf.

This wouldn’t be possible without the generous local businesses and organizations that work hard to make Elliot Lake a better place.

Please Read Carefully:

  1. All donations will be charged to your credit card at the time of donation. 
  2. We strongly recommend NOT using a debit card.
  3. Only donations of $25 can be accepted and will go towards the purchase of a gift bag and/or gift card(s), but you can make multiple, separate $25 donations.
  4. All credit card charges will appear as VILLAGE MEDIA on your statement.
  5. A ElliotLakeToday.com account is required for participation in this fundraiser. You can register for an account at: https://www.elliotlaketoday.com/account/register
  6. You must be signed in to your ElliotLakeToday.com account to participate.
  7. At our sole discretion and for any reason, ElliotLakeToday.com retains the right to revoke an account and cancel any  transactions placed by that account. In the event an account is suspended or transactions are canceled, the account holder will be notified by email. If you have problems registering or logging in, please reach out to our customer service department at [email protected]. 
  8. All registration and information shall remain confidential within Village Media Inc. We will not share your information. 
  9. Donations can be made starting at 12:00pm Toronto time March 1, 2022 and will be accepted until March 7, 2022 at 12:00pm Toronto time.
  10. All transactions (donations) are considered to be final. You will receive a confirmation email after you have made an online donation. 
  11. Tax receipts WILL NOT be issued.
