Members from the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and the North East Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Unit continue to investigate a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Dec. 22, 2019 at approximately 9 p.m. on Highway 17 just east of Long Lake Road in the City of Greater Sudbury.
The driver of the motorcycle who died in the collision has been identified as 26-year-old Steven Poulin from Sudbury.
Highway 17 was closed for several hours that evening to ensure the safety of all emergency responders and to allow police to conduct their investigation.
