A driver has been charged with impaired driving after police received a traffic complaint.
On July 23, 2023 shortly after 7:30 p.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 69, Dill Township, south of the City of Greater Sudbury.
The vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for impaired driving. The driver was then transported to the Sudbury OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Cindy Fox, 38 years of age from Massey, was charged with:
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
The accused was release and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Aug. 23, 2023 in Sudbury.
The driver was issued a 90-day administrative driver's licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
