ESPANOLA - Between the dates of Oct. 25 to Oct. 27, 2022, the Espanola Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received numerous calls from residents on River Road in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township related to break and enters and a suspicious person.
Police have recovered a large amount of stolen property located near the shoreline on River Road. Items found are believed to be from recent break and enters in the area. Some recovered items have been returned to owners.
If you were a victim of a break and enter or theft in the River Road area and have not reported it to police, please call the Espanola OPP.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Espanola OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or should you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
