On Feb. 25, 2024 at approximately 4 p.m., the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint regarding a speeding black Jeep on Highway 108, Northshore Township.
Police stopped the Jeep a short time later. After further investigation, the driver was determined to be prohibited drive. They were subsequently arrested and the Jeep was towed and impounded.
David Mack Calder, 34 years old of Blind River, was charged with - Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on May 9, 2024.
