The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for assistance in regards to an animal cruelty case that occurred on Village Road in Serpent River First Nation, Ont. on Aug. 24, 2018.

The complainant had reported his black lab dog had gone missing a few days prior. It was later found deceased with what looked to be gun-shot wounds.

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.

Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit information online where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
