Police investigating break and enters on Lee Valley Road

ESPANOLA - On Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the North East Region OPP Canine Unit (K9), and the North East Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence on Lee Valley Road in the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers, Ontario.

Officers searched the area with negative results. While investigating, officers were advised of an additional break and enter that had occurred on Feb. 26, 2019 on Lee Valley Road in the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers, Ontario.

Officers obtained a brief description of the suspect from the March 5, 2019, break and enter as follows:

  • Male
  • 5'8" to 5'9" tall
  • Thin build
  • Silver or grey glasses
  • A tight black jacket
  • Balaclava covering his face

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for these break and enters should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
