OPP looking for man in yellow Camaro who approached 9-year-old boy

Police say the young boy was fishing Tuesday night when an unknown man, approximately 30 years old, offered him a toy and bought him ice cream

The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a suspicious person and vehicle in Thessalon.

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the river where a person reported that a 9-year-old boy who was fishing was approached by a man driving a yellow Camaro.

Police say the man identified himself as a RE/MAX real estate agent looking for property in the area, and offered the 9-year-old a toy and to buy him ice cream.

The man is described as male, approximately 30 years old, with darker skin, a blue plaid button-up "Hawaiian style" shirt, black hat and glasses.  

The vehicle is described as a 2011 model, yellow with black racing striped, and an Ontario licence plate (CAEE757).
