On May 8, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Milliken Road in Elliot Lake regarding a suspicious person call. Subsequently, they arrested a known male on numerous outstanding charges and warrants.

On Jan. 21, police were called to a snowmobile theft from a residence on Hillside Drive South in Elliot Lake. On Feb. 5, a neighbour on Hutchison Avenue notified police of stolen property being stored on their property and that the male was in the process of selling it. The complainant also stated the same male was stealing property from them. Another warrant was subsequently issued.

On Feb. 18, police were called regarding a stolen vehicle incident. The vehicle was located on Johnson Place in Elliot Lake, and the same male and female fled on foot. As a result, another warrant was issued.
