North Bay man pulls knife in Highway 17 road rage confrontation

A North Bay man has been arrested and charged after a knife was pulled in a road rage incident on Dutrisac Road, West Nipissing.

On March 14, shortly before 12:30 p.m., OPP responded to a weapon complaint

It was reported that two vehicles had been involved in a road rage incident on Highway 17 and pulled onto a side road to confront each other.

"One driver brandished a knife while uttering a threat to harm the other driver," says Constable Rob Lewis in a news release.

Steven Denis, 32, from North Bay, was arrested and charged with, "assault with a weapon" and "uttering threats."

Denis is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on April 4.
