ESPANOLA - On Sunday, March 3, 2019, at approximately 3:52 a.m., officers from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Sables-Spanish Rivers Fire Department, and the Manitoulin-Sudbury Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a residential fire on Cutler Lake Road in the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, Ontario.
The identity of the deceased has been confirmed by the Coroner's Office and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS). He has been identified as Sandy Nott, a 36-year-old male from the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers Township, Ontario.
The fire is not being considered suspicious at this time.
