Male arrested for breaching court imposed curfew

He was allegedly observed by police at a residence at 9:43 p.m., in breach of his curfew condition

On July 7, 2019, members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police arrested a male on Paris Drive in the City of Elliot Lake, Ont.

On July 3, 2019 at approximately 9:43 p.m., police observed the male at a residence on Tokyo Crescent in Elliot Lake. This was in breach of his curfew condition which was previously imposed by the courts.  

Timothy Moran, 37 years of age of Elliot Lake, Ont. was charged with:

  • Fail to comply with recognizance, contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code (CC).

The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River, Ont. on July 8, 2019.
