On March 4, the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police arrested and charged a person in relation to sending unwanted explicit pictures and video through a social media platform.
On March 3, a complainant reported receiving numerous nude photographs and videos from a person on social media. The person was identified and later contacted by police.
Dominic Bernard, 31, from Elliot Lake was charged with Indecent Communications, contrary to section 372(2) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on April 3.
