On Jan. 22, 2018, at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a male responsible for causing damage to another person's vehicle.
On Jan. 16, 2018, the complainant reported that a male who was known to him, attended his residence and punched the vehicle parked in the driveway, thus causing damage to the vehicle.
Robert Chaylt, 54 years of age, from Elliot Lake, Ontario was charged with:
- Mischief under $5000, contrary to section 430(4) of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake, Ontario on Feb. 6, 2018.
