On Nov. 18, 2021 members of Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid a charge in connection to a historical sexual assault.
The OPP investigated a sexual assault occurrence in Little Current that happened over an extensive period of time. As a result, one person was arrested and charged.
Allan GENEREUX, 55-years-old from Little Current was charged with:
- Sexual Assault, contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the CC
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay Nov. 22, 2021.
