Male charged with assault
ELLIOT LAKE - On Aug. 12, 2017, shortly before 11 a.m., members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded a disturbance at a residence on Fox Drive in the City of Elliot Lake.
Investigation determined that two males were arguing and one male physically assaulted the other male.
As a result, Mihalj Gemes, 54 years of age from Elliot Lake, Ontario, was charged with: Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code.
The accused is schedule to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on Oct. 3, 2017.
