ESPANOLA - On April 21, 2020, at approximately 2:04 a.m., members of the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute at a residence in Espanola.
As a result of the investigation, Allister Corbiere, 39-year-old from M'Chigeeng First Nation was charged with the following:
- Fail to comply with undertaking contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
- Fail to comply with release order - other than to attend court contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the CC.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola on July 20, 2020.
