BALDWIN TOWNSHIP - On Sept. 21, 2020 at approximately 7:54 p.m., members from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of an assault at an apartment block in Baldwin Township.
As a result of the investigation, Richard Grandmaison, 69 years old of Espanola, was arrested and charged with assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Nov. 16, 2020 in Espanola.
