An Elliot Lake resident is facing an impaired driving charge.

Ontario Provincial Police were called to a Warsaw Place apartment complex at around 5:15 p.m. Monday after someone reported a man who had fallen after getting out of a grey SUV.

He was treated by paramedics for minor injuries.

“Police spoke to the driver who exhibited obvious signs of impairment by alcohol,” OPP allege in a news release.

David Tregaskiss, 77, has been charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
