On June 30, 2020, shortly after 6:30 p.m., members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a family dispute at a residence on Brunswick Walk in the City of Elliot Lake.
Investigation determined two brothers were having an argument and one was on conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.
As a result of the investigation, Kenneth Nielsen, age 53 of Elliot Lake, was charged with: Failure to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 162.2(4) of the Criminal Code.
The accused appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Video Bail in Blind River on July 1, 2020 and was remanded into custody.
