A truck driver was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a transport swerved off Highway 11 near Powassan.
OPP say the accident happened on May 4 around noon, when the northbound transport left the paved portion of the highway, broke through the cable guardrails, and rolled down a steep embankment.
"The lone vehicle occupant suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance," says Detective Constable Neal Turner.
Police are continuing the investigation and more information will be provided when it becomes available.
