August 10, 1933 – July 22, 2022
Passed away at home just before his 89th birthday. Beloved husband of Helga whom he married in 1962. Father of Terry and Robert, grandfather of Adrien and Nicholas and great grandfather of Elliot. He will be missed by extended family in Canada and Germany and numerous friends.
Fred was a lifelong lover of nature and horses. He emigrated from Germany to Canada because he “wanted to become a cowboy”.
A private gathering will be held at a later date.
