  It is with great sorrow that the family announce the passing of Sharon Ternahan at the St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Tuesday November 1, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Carl Ternahan Sr. of Serpent River. Loving mother of Margaret Lafond (Marcel) of Edmonton, Alberta, Colleen (Robert),Rachel Ternahan of London, Rebecca Henry (Chris) of Tillsonburg, Carl Ternahan Jr. (Sandra) of Essex and (the late) Laura Ternahan. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment to take place at a later date in Algoma Mills Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave).
