October 15, 1930 – April 19, 2023
Our loving mother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, in her own home, in her 93rd year. She is reunited with her husband Raymond. Beloved mother of Darrell (Janet) and Michael (Judith). Proud and devoted Grandmother to Clayton, Patrick, Miles (Lindsay), Brooke (Graham), Leanne (Devon) and Raymond and Great Grandmother to Madison, Walker, Eli and Callum. Will be dearly missed by her siblings Dorlena Fearnall (late Leonard), Patricia Maitland (late Ron) and Roy Eaket (Carole) as well as many nieces and nephews. Thelma is predeceased by her parents Vern and Agnes (nee Breckenridge) Eaket and siblings Marion Rutledge (late Clifford), George Eaket (late May) and Irvin Eaket (late Irma).
Thelma was a hard-working and very determined lady. She was happiest gardening, preserving and sharing her many recipes. Over the years she was active in the Iron Bridge community and volunteered her time to many functions. She was a long-time member of the Iron Bridge United Church and was proud to support them in any way she could. Thelma was committed to her family always putting them first. She enjoyed vacationing with family , providing them with loads of loving memories. We will forever miss her baking and her Sunday family dinners.
