We are saddened to announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Rae on Aug 8th, 2023 in his 84th year. Bob died peacefully with his wife and family members at his side. Son of the late Jim and Bernice Rae, loving husband to Monika of 25 years, brother to Paul (Bernice), father to Greg (Sandy), Wendy and Cherin (Michael), step-father to Anja (Graham) and Susanne (Martin) and grandfather to Avalon, Adam, Alanna, Jodie, Martin, Johnathon, Steven, Jackie, Erica and Trevor . Bob will also be missed by his furry companion Harry P. A proud member of the Masons and Shriners and supporter of many charities. Bob will always be remembered for his smile, positive attitude and willingness to have a little chat.

Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation of Elliot Lake (Oncology project) or the Elliot Lake Palliative Care Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Visitation will be held at the Iron Bridge United Church on Monday Aug 14th, 2023 at 10 am. Service at 11 am followed by interment at the Maple Ridge Cemetery.
