April 20, 1955 – May 28, 2023

We are heartbroken and saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, sister, special friend, auntie and grandmother in her 69th year, at Sault Area Hospital. Loving mother of Gerry Arbour (Laurie) and Nancy Arbour (Doug). Special friend and partner of Paul Clarke. Cherished sister of Marilyn Moranville (twin), Teresa Ciotka (late Tom), Evelyn “Dolly” Labbee (late Paul), Melanie Fitzpatrick (Kevin) and Tammy Roque. Grandmother of Bryson. Fun loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Carilyn has been reunited with her late father Ross Warbrick (late Diane), late mother Barbara Roque (late Bill) as well as her late brother Gary Warbrick.

Carilyn loved music, dancing and having a good time. She was devoted to her family….they meant everything to her. She took care of others making sure they had what they needed, even if it meant she went without. She would give you the shirt off her back. She always had a smile on her face. We will forever miss our morning coffee get-togethers, the many random visits here and there with family and friends and the Tuesday night jam sessions at the Iron Horse.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Deverall for his years of caring for Carilyn and the staff at NSHN-Blind River.

In lieu of flowers donations to NSHN-Blind River, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada are appreciated by the family.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carilyn’s life on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 1pm – 3pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 189 in Blind River, 27 Hawkins Street.
