MONETTE, George

(February 13, 1945 – October 8, 2017) - Peacefully, at the Sault Area Hospital, with his family by his side on Sunday October 8, 2017.  George Monette of Desbarats in his 73rd year, beloved husband of Marjorie Monette for 50 years.  Loving father of Michelle Monette (Alex McKay) of Leeburn, Joseph Monette ( Darlene ) of Thessalon and Sarah Monette ( Derek Gaetano ) of Sault Ste. Marie. Special Grandpa George to Tyler, Lauren, Reece, Amber, Levi, Jacob and Adam.  Dear son of the late Hector and Muriel Monette.  Dear brother of Yvonne Dent (Steve) of Sudbury and the late Leo Monette ( Seilja ) of Sault Ste. Marie.  Friends may call at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon on Friday October 13, 2017 from 10am until time of service at 12 noon with Charlie Martin officiating.  Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Gordon Lake.  Donations to the North Shore Health Network Auxiliary – Matthews Site gratefully accepted.
