Elsie Doris MAAS
March 9, 1935 – December 10, 2023
Passed away peacefully at the North Shore Health Network in Blind River following a brief battle with a brain tumor. Devoted wife of 65 years to Albert Maas. Predeceased by her son Daniel Maas, her parents Robert and Jeanette Rockefeller, sister Gladys Othen and brother Lloyd Rockefeller. Elsie is survived by her sons Jamie Maas (Dale), Jody Maas (Catherine), cherished granddaughter Abigail Maas and brother Robert Rockefeller. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters and brother-in-law will also dearly miss Elsie.
Elsie was born in Port Rowan, Ontario, later moving to Hamilton, Ontario where she and her husband raised their family. Always a very social person Elsie made friends wherever she went. She was a kind-hearted, loyal soul. Her strength will never be forgotten. It was her life-long mission to selflessly care for those around her and now it is her turn to be cared for in the hands of God. Elsie, we love you.
Per Elsie’s request there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
