It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, grandmother and great grandmother at Golden Birches Terrace in Blind River at the age of 93. Mom is joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Walter (d.2008). Mom was the glue that held together her large family of 10 children: Leonard Cywink (Lisa), Douglas Kilworth, Allison Morningstar (George), Sharon Olson (Brian), Robert Kilworth (Kathy), Donald Kilworth (Maria), David Kilworth (Geri), John Kilworth (Jen), Joanne Kilworth (Brian) and Tracy Weber (Randy). Proud and loving grandma of 19 and great grandma of many. Daughter of the late Samuel and the late Agatha Cywink. Predeceased by 9 siblings and her best friend Carol Gregory.

Mom enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting and cross-country skiing. She was a great cook and baker, always providing hearty and delicious meals for her family. We had homemade dessert every night. She loved knitting making sure her family was well outfitted with socks, mitts, sweaters and toques. She and dad were avid euchre players playing with family and friends.

The light was always on, and Mom was always up waiting for us to come home. She was considerate, caring and selfless and her greatest joy was making others happy.

Mom will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Birches Terrace for taking great care of our mother. We appreciate the kindness, compassion and friendliness given to our mom.

A private ceremony for the family will be held in the spring.
