JARRATT, Dennis John
Dennis John Jarratt, 75, of Blind River, ON, passed away January 5th, 2024. Born January 12th,1948, in Port Dover, Simcoe, ON, to the late John and Beatrice 'Amy' Jarratt.
Dennis will be forever remembered by his loving partner, Bonnie Whitehouse. Loving father of Heather VanDuzen (nee Jarratt), son-in-law Phill, Devin Jarratt, daughter-in-law Marcy. Grandpa to Hailey, Graidon, Colton, Jared, Ryan and April. Loving brother of the late Anne (nee Jarratt) and Ken Cluchey, Charles and Hazel Jarratt, late Jeanette (nee Jarratt) and surviving husband Donald Lawrene, late David Jarratt, Lynn and Cathy Jarratt, Johnny and Teresa Jarratt. Sadly, missed by many nieces and nephews, Sandra and Chris Peebles, Michael and Nancy Whitehouse and family.
Dennis was a proud past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 189 in Blind River. He loved being at his trailer surrounded by friends and family and late nights around the fire. Dennis was an avid pool and dart player, loved his man-cave and watching the Leafs and Jays play.
Dennis will always be remembered by his energetic nature and positive attitude.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all his health care providers and his partner, Bonnie along with the nurses who cared for him comfortably at home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
