With broken hearts, the family of Jimmy Horton announces his sudden passing at home, on January 31st, 2024.
Born to Rita (nee Bonin) and Elmer Horton on October 27th, 1958, Jimmy was the youngest of eight. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings - Robert (Catherine Green), Fred (Dolores), Elizabeth (late Richard Scott) and Grace (Ken Allen).
Loving and always supportive father of his daughter Kirby (Craig MacDonald). Adoring Pappy of his grandchildren Charlee and Freddy. He leaves behind his siblings Richard (Joan), Mary (Charlie Schock) and Danny (Joanne). Uncle Jimmy will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be public visitations on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 2pm-4pm and from 6pm to 8pm at the Blind River Community Centre,110 Indiana Avenue. A private family service will be held. Interment in the Spring to follow at Blind River Hillside Cemetery.
Members of the Masonic Order are requested to assemble to honour their Late Brother James K. Horton.
