It is with great sadness that the Giguère Family announces the passing of Normand on December 30th, 2022, in his 76th Year. He passed away peacefully at Golden Birches Terrace after his battle with Dementia.
Normand was predeceased by his Father Gaspard (1973), and his Mother Laurette (2009).
Normand was the beloved husband of 49 years to Carole; the cherished Father to his 3 Children, June (Chris), Andre (Stacey) & Roxanne (Olivier).
He was the proud Grandfather to his Grandchildren, Stacy, Caitlin, Joey, Tristan, Cassidy, Josh, Seth, Olivia, Tamara & Zoe.
He will always be remembered by his brothers and sisters: Leo Paul (deceased) (Pauline), Armande (deceased), Denise (Claude - deceased), Carmelle (Conrad) both deceased, Richard (Sandra), Diane (deceased) & Michel (Gaetane)
As well, he will be missed by his brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and by his many nieces and nephews.
Those who knew "Stormin - Norman" will remember him for his love for fishing and hunting, and his devotion as a Health Inspector for 35 years with the Algoma Health Unit.
Cremation will be held by Menard's Funeral Home with no visitation as per Norm's wishes.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held at a later date.
