It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Glenn Gauthier, on Tuesday December 13th at the age of 73.  He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Marilyn, his children Tammy (Scott) and Travis (Tara). Proud and loving Papa of Jordan (Stephanie), Reilley (Brandon), Grace, Avery, and Great Grandpa to Blake.

Gary was forever grateful for the love and support of his predeceased in-laws Royal Sr. and Marjorie St. Jules, he will be greatly missed by Leona (Spike), Tom predeceased (Cheryl), Royal Jr. (Gisele), Robin (Sue), Dean (Sheila), Tina (Robbie), Maureen (Mark) and many nieces and nephews.

Dear brother of Vera, predeceased by his brothers Tex (Tina), Jack and Bill. Predeceased by his mother (Lorna) and his loving foster parents, Russell and Florence Leffler who had such a positive impact in his life.

Gary leaves behind many good friends and will always be remembered for his crazy sense of humour and for his willingness to always help others.

He was a proud man who loved his family dearly.  His wife, kids and grandchildren were his world, and he would tell stories about them to anyone who would listen. His love for all dogs was profound but especially his black lab Isaac, his best friend, who never left his side.

Our Dad was the go-to for anything and everything, and would drop what he was doing to help anyone at any time.  He would build, fix, or repair whatever you needed and never wanted anything in return.  Toy boxes, tables, bird houses, bird feeders, foot stools, drink holders, lake signs and washer toss games are some of the treasures we have. He made everything with love and would smile broadly when giving it to you.

There will be no service at this time. A private celebration of life for family and friends will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or donations please lend a helping hand to someone in need. Clear a driveway, mow a lawn, change a tire, and most importantly make someone smile.

He will be forever missed.
