Passed away with his daughter Carolyn at his side at NSHN-Blind River, in his 81st year. Son of the late Elmer and Dorothy Garton. Father to the late Karen DaFonseca (Manuel), Scott Garton (Terri), Larry Garton and Carolyn Garton. Grandfather to Justin, Brandon, Paige, Kenzie, Brittany and Julian and great grandfather of 4. Brother to Gary (Mary), Margaret Pogue (late Ray) and Marlene Travis (Brian). Uncle to Donna, Darryl, James, Glen, Brad Sean, the late Amy and the late Denise. Fondly remembered by friends Rick and Cheryl, Chuck and Cathy and the entire gang from Aubrey Falls.
A celebration of Don’s life will be held next summer at his favorite place, Aubrey. Date and time TBD.
