Garneau, Daniel Marcel “Dan”
It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Daniel Marcel “Dan” Garneau at his residence in Elliot Lake on Monday January 23, 2023 at the age of 60. Beloved son of Joan Carol Barnett and of (the late) Noël Garneau. Loving brother of Richard Garneau, Ralph Garneau, Shawn Garneau and predeceased by his sisters Jackie, Louise, Judy and Catherine “Linda”. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. A memorial service will be held from the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Avenue) on Tuesday January 31, 2023 at 11 am. Daniel was a very caring man who had a “big heart” and compassion for others. He also acted as volunteer firefighter with the North Shore Fire Dept. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
