August 1, 1941 – February 21, 2024
Jack passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family while at NSHN-Blind River at the age of 82.
Jack is reunited with his youngest son Greg. Husband and best friend of Judy (nee McAulay) for 59 plus years. Father of Tim (Connie) and Ted (Anne-Marie). Loving Papa of Elizabeth, Jena and Jacob. Loving son of Percy and Hattie Gardiner. Brother of James (late Joy), late William (late Lenore), late Calvin (late Jean, late Sally), late Shirley, late Lester, Murray (late Cora, Gail), Lorna (late Ronald), Faye (Jack) and Gary (Penny). Fondly remembered by brother-in-law George and sisters in law Sharon and Edith Anne as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jack worked many years as a mechanic for Ontario Hydro. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes and golfing.
Thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff at NSHN-Blind River. A special thank you to the Palliative Team and their nurses Jennifer, Madison, Kayla and Laura. Also, a big thank you to Bayshore Nurse Marnie.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Beggs Funeral Home, 175 Main Street, Thessalon on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
