FRASER, Helen Agnes (Gionet)

May 15, 1942 – January 13, 2024

With deep regret we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend at NSHN-Blind River in her 82nd year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Douglas, her son Stanley and grandson Brandon Douglas Leblanc. Loving mother of Donna Mann, Brenda Tessier (Clyde) and Anna May Leblanc (late Richard). Dear grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 24. Predeceased by her parents JR and Rita Gionet and sister Lauraine Gionet Swanson. Will be forever missed by her sister May Houlahan (late Des), brother Lionel Gionet (Anne Marie), brother Teddy Gionet (Janet) and sister Rose Gionet Desbois and her brother in-law Lorne Swanson.

Helen loved the Lord and was deeply devoted to her faith. She was a wonderful mother, an excellent cook and a wonderful homemaker. Helen will be missed by her family and her church congregation, The Fellowship Christian Church in Iron Bridge.

The family expresses deep gratitude to Rebecca and Pastor Philip Carlson for loving our mother and supporting her with kindness and friendship. They also want to thank Graham Alexander for his loving generosity and being there for our mother.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Psalm 23

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
