It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Sheila Bernice Forsyth. She is survived by her husband Ian, her son Ryan (Karina Bielanski) and daughter Colleen (Matthew Curry), two grandchildren Ava and Brynn. Sheila devoted her life to helping others. She served on the board of directors of Family Life and Palliative Care. Aside from nursing at St. Joseph’s hospital she also worked at Community Care Access Centre for a number of years. One of her great joys was going to the Nurses’ retirement luncheons once a month. We will meet you again, Sheila. Special thanks to Dr. Nelson and all the staff at the hospital, especially food services for the meals Sheila was finally able to enjoy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.
