The family regretfully announce the peaceful passing of Grace Fast on December 2, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake at the age of 99 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Irwin on December 23, 2012 and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Sharon Souliere (Doug), Susan Weller (Pete – predeceased), Bruce (Peggy) and Penny, all of Elliot Lake. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Grace was born May 2, 1921 in Montreal, Quebec to Jack and Fidelia Byerley (predeceased). She has lived in Elliot Lake since 1957.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service. Memorial contributions to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
