FALLU, Irene Agathe Rose (nee Hogan)

March 26, 1929 – August 2, 2020
It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Irene, in her home. Irene is predeceased by her husband Adelard Fallu. She is survived by her children Pat Fallu (Gayle), Giselle Strauss (Rick) and Danielle Hopper and by her 9 loving grandchildren and her 11 treasured great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her brothers John Hogan (the late Lillian), Edward Hogan, sister in law Huguette and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Stella Pilon (Claude), Theresa Larochelle (the late Gaudiace), brother Patrick Hogan and grandson Patrick Adelard Fallu.
Irene was born in St. Agathe, Lolb Quebec on the Hogan family farm that is currently in its six generation. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bernadette Hogan and her in-laws Theodor and Melanie Fallu.
Irene was a registered nurse for 35 years, mostly in Blind River where she took much pride in her work. She was dedicated, compassionate delivering care to her patients. Irene had a library of books and a mind full of knowledge.
Celebration of Irene’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the NSHN-Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Menard Funeral Home.
