Miigwaanens Kwe
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Clarenda at the age of 41. Born on June 11, 1981 she began her spirit’s journey on October 2, 2022 and is reunited with her son Binezhii-Jay, siblings Bridgette, Stephen, Bernard and Glenda and her father Clarence. Lovingly remembered by her son Joseph, her mom Bernadine (nee Catches) and her sister Eva (Reginald). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, friends and her cat…Mr. Cat.
Clarenda was a natural helper, loved to bead, listen to music and had “luv, luv, luv” for her kids.
The family would like to express appreciation to the community’s traditional helpers who guided Miigwannens Kwe on her journey.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Mississauga First Nation Cultural Centre, Park Road MFN on Tuesday, October 11 beginning at 1pm until time of service at 2pm. Burial at 3pm with feast to follow.
