October 16, 1955 – December 11, 2023
It is with incredible sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and best friend after far too short a battle with cancer. Holly passed away peacefully at NSHN-Blind River surrounded by her immediate family.
Devoted wife to Mark Donner, Holly was the proud mother to her twin boys Michael and Ryan and her daughter Chelsea. She was a loving Nanny to grandchildren Sean, Kelsea, Haylea, Ashlea, Nicholas, Anthony and Hillary. Loving stepmother to Sarah, Warren, Scott and Carol and step grandmother to Gretchen, Audrey and Theodore. She also loved her great grandchild, Lucas.
Holly was predeceased by her parents Keenan Spence and Dorien (nee Church) of Ottawa.
Holly is survived by her loving sisters Judy Isaacs of Ottawa and Donna Lamothe of Foymount Ontario.
A celebration of Holly’s life will be held later in the new year when travel is easier, and the celebration can be larger. She wants everyone to have a wonderful time remembering the good times we all shared with her.
Cremation has already taken place.
Our thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at the hospitals in Blind River and Sudbury who made this terrible last journey as comfortable as can be with love and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you do what you can to battle this disease, cancer which has and is, affecting so many of us in terrible ways.
Rest in peace you most wonderful lady knowing that we will forever remember you and will support and care for each other always.
