It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden loss of Ginette Côté who succumbed to her illness in her 60th year on December 28, 2022, at the Sault Area Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie.
Ginette will be deeply missed by her loving partner, Daniel (Dano) Curtis as well as her parents Marielle Roy, Cyrille Guy, her sister Chantal (Norm) Collins, nephew Felix and niece Quinn. Devoted mother to her son, Shawn Côté and daughter, Michelle (Jason) Allard. Loving Grandmother to her three granddaughters Alexis, Annika and Ariel.
Ginette was a dedicated PSW health care professional for 30 plus years at the Huron Lodge Nursing Home, in Elliot Lake and she will be deeply missed by her coworkers and senior residents. She was known for her sense of humor, beautiful smile, patience, personal compassionate care, and she loved everyone she touched.
Ginette’s favourite things in life that we will all remember was spending time with Dano, her daughter, granddaughters, family and friends. She enjoyed relaxing at home and reaching out to family and friends on Facebook. Her passion for fast cars like her Trans Am and on any given night, she could be found down by the lake fishing. She was always the best catch of the day, fishing number one. She never missed a day for her love of an ice cap from Tim Hortons.
She touched our hearts, but now she’s gone. Life is too short for one so young. Loved by all and now we are missed by one.
