Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at NSHN-Blind River after an extended illness, age 50. Loving and generous father of James, Quintin, Mateo, Christiano and Giabella. Devoted best friend and brother of Mario (Julie) and Dany (Donna). He will be dearly missed by his nephews Erik, Nikolaus and D.J., his niece Emily as well as great nephew Broady. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Waiting in the new world and anticipating a joyful reunion are his beloved parents Marc and Ghislaine, brothers Rene and Robert and niece Tiffany.
Gino was big hearted and generous towards everyone he met. He always managed to make everyone laugh. He loved a good party, having fun and playing guitar even though he couldn’t sing to save his life. He had a tough go, but his determination was a real testament to his resilience. Gino ‘s biggest love was for his family, particularly his children. He was a loyal brother, son and friend. We will forever miss his joking around and making us laugh.
The family wishes to thank the in-home staff that worked with Gino over the years as well as the staff at NSHN-Blind River for their professionalism and compassion. They also want to thank family and friends for visiting Gino and spending time with him and Menard Funeral Home for their in-depth understanding and empathy.
