The Bobiwash family wishes to announce the passing of Jean Peter Bobiwash on Tuesday, May 21st at his residence.
The service for the late Jean Peter Bobiwash will be held on Saturday, May 25th,2019 at St. James the Greater Church in Blind River from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for family and community gathering.
A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. He will be interred in the Serpent River First Nation with his family. Jean Bobiwash is survived by his daughters Betty Jean, Julie, Gary and Lloyd and son Carl Jones. Brother to Lloyd Bobiwash Jr. (Deceased), Mary Ermatinger (Deceased) Libby Bobiwash (Deseased) John Bobiwash of Blind River, Conrad Bobiwash, Sally Bobiwash of Quebec and Donald Bobiwash of Sault Ste. Marie. Son late Lloyd and Sarah Bobiwash of Blind River
Jean grew up in Blind River and was active in Hockey and worked in the mining industry in Elliot Lake. He enjoyed being with his friends in Massey and Sagamok First Nation on the north shore. He made friend wherever he resided and was an avid supporter of community events.
He will be remembered by his family and friends along the north shore and will be remembered for being a good father and provider for his family.
